Job summary

3D Personnel Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer for a data centre project in Dublin. The role focuses on commissioning critical mechanical systems, including chillers, CRAHs, pumps and pipework, and ensuring successful test execution and documentation.

Ideal candidates have experience commissioning large mechanical systems and hold a Mechanical or Building Services engineering qualification. The role offers long-term progression within the growing data centre sector.

Qualifications

• Experience commissioning mechanical systems on large projects.
• Degree or qualification in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
• Data centre or mission-critical experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of HVAC, cooling and BMS interfaces.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Commission mechanical systems including chillers, CRAHs, pumps and pipework.
• Prepare and execute test scripts from Level 2 through IST.
• Witness and record testing with subcontractors and the client.
• Track and close out commissioning issues.
• Coordinate with construction, controls and electrical teams.
• Compile commissioning and handover documentation.
