Job summary

Amazon Data Services Ireland Limited - A65 is seeking an Electrical/Mechanical Engineering intern to support AWS data centers through design reviews, RCA investigations, and cross-team collaboration. You will be mentored by experienced engineers and work on regional and global projects to improve capacity, availability, and safety.

The program runs 12 consecutive weeks, full-time (40 hours per week), starting in 2027.

Qualifications

• In final year of Bachelor's or Master's degree (graduating 2027).
• Knowledge of Power Systems, Fluid Dynamics, and/or Thermodynamics.
• Professional English proficiency, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Perform design and equipment submittal reviews for new data centers in your region.
• Troubleshoot issues, conduct RCA, and create CA documentation for site and equipment failures.
• Support operational issues with ad-hoc training, SOP reviews, and event support.
• Collaborate with data center design engineering, server hardware, and EHS teams to promote standards.
• Work on concurrent projects, sometimes across multiple geographical regions.
