Job summary

Canada Life Group is seeking a data analytics professional for the Internal Audit function, focused on data-led audits for Lifeco's Irish and German operations, based in Ireland. You will work with management and the Chief Internal Auditor to ensure timely delivery and strong governance insights.

The role requires experience with SQL/Python/R/Snowflake and data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau), plus familiarity with AI tools.

Qualifications

• Experience executing data-led audit or analytics projects.
• Familiarity with governance and risk in the Life, Health and Investments sector.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and/or lead the execution of data-led audit assignments.
• Support ongoing development of Internal Audit data analytics and AI strategy.
• Improve data analytics processes including data extraction, risk assessment, data analysis, and visualization/reporting.
• Develop data-centric analysis and testing strategies to evaluate risks and controls.
• Participate in design and implementation of risk-based testing and global initiatives.
• Prepare high-quality written governance and risk reports for management.
• Support training related to data literacy, collection, analysis and visualization.
• Build professional relationships with senior stakeholders and collaborate across teams.
