Job Description

Mrs. Louise Quinn T/A Ballym Charolais Herd require 2 Dairy Farm Assistants for full‑time work in Ballymoran House, Edenderry, Co. Offaly, R45 FD37. The suitable candidate will support daily operations on the farm. This role involves caring for livestock, assisting with milking routines, maintaining farm equipment, and ensuring high standards of animal welfare and hygiene.

  • Assist with daily milking operations
  • Feed and monitor the health and wellbeing of dairy cattle
  • Clean animal housing, milking parlours, and equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of feed, health, and milk production
  • Operate farm machinery as required
  • Support general farm maintenance and repairs
  • Work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Meet production targets

Other Details: Minimum annual remuneration: €34,000; Standard working week 39 hours. Training in English language skills and company operating procedures will be provided.
