Michael Lynch’s farm at Tullig, Kilflynn, Tralee, Co.Kerry is looking for a dairy farm assistant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the job and a drive to learn and grow within the field.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Assisting in the care of milking cows.
• Supporting the calving process during the season.
• Ensuring the health and well-being of the milking cows.
• Support in daily milking operations.
• General farm management, grassland management and animal husbandry Milk quality control, disease maintenance and meeting key production targets.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 year of practical experience in dairy farming.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a team environment.

Salary: €36,606 per annum.

Hours: 39 hours per week.
