Job summary

Thomas Kirwan Limited in Waterford, Ireland, is seeking a reliable Dairy Farm Assistant to join our family-run operation. The role focuses on milking, animal care, feeding, calf rearing and farm maintenance.

Working 39 hours per week full-time, with on-farm accommodation available, you will join a team skilled in modern dairy farming and committed to high welfare standards.

A valid driving licence is preferred and English language skills are essential to communicate with staff and records.

Qualifications

• Previous dairy farming experience is required.
• Good understanding of livestock handling and welfare is required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good level of spoken and written English is required.
• Full driving licence preferred but not essential.

We milk approximately 200 cows using modern farming practices and are seeking a reliable and motivated Dairy Farm Assistant to join our team.

Essential Requirements
