Job Description

The Treacy Farm Partnership of Newtown, Co. Galway require an experienced dairy farm assistant to join them on a 400‑acre dairy farm to help in the milking of 200 prime British Friesian cattle in traditional Herringbone parlours. The partnership plans to expand the herd and modernise the farm and requires an assistant with at least 2 years practical milking and calf rearing experience. Candidates must be able to speak English and be ready to start work on the farm in time for Spring Calving in February. In return we will offer a minimum of €34,000 pa for a 39 hour/6‑day week and provide accommodation if needed.
