Job summary

Workday is seeking a passionate and experienced security professional to join our highly technical team in Ireland. This role covers incident response, security automation, system and cloud security, and threat hunting across our SaaS platform.

You will engage in follow-the-sun incident response activities, develop investigative tooling, and contribute to robust security controls while collaborating with global teams in a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a security engineer/analyst
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, Offensive Security, SANS) are a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead cyber security incident response and investigation efforts including digital forensics and cloud security events
• Improve threat detection through gap analyses and remediation
• Build and maintain investigation tools and response processes
• Evaluate new tools and techniques to create practical security solutions
