Job summary

WeDo Tech is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join a growing team within a large, fast-moving organisation in County Cavan. The role offers hands-on security work with clear ownership to identify gaps, shape improvements and deliver practical security solutions across the business.

You'll work across infrastructure, cloud and security monitoring, advancing architecture and threat modelling, with hybrid working and real impact on security posture.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on cyber security or security engineering experience.
• Proven track record of identifying security gaps and implementing solutions.
• Experience delivering security improvement or architecture projects.
• Good understanding of infrastructure, networking and cloud security.
• An understanding of AI Governance and security measures would be beneficial.

This role suits someone with strong hands-on security experience who wants to move further into senior engineering and architecture. You'll have real ownership, identifying security gaps, shaping improvements and working with teams across the business to deliver them.
