  • Handle invoicing and general administration tasks.
  • Work 40 hours per week with potential overtime as required.

Job Description:Customs Clearance Agent

Location: Dublin

As a result of our ongoing expansion and the increasing demand for our services, we are seeking a driven and well-organized Customs Clearance Agent to join our team in Dublin, Ireland. Personal Freight Services, a company specialising in Global Freight Forwarding and Customs, has offices in Dublin and London and presents an opportunity for you to become part of our growing team as a Customs Clearance Agent.

The Customs Clearance Agent will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations within our Customs Clearance department currently consisting of 20 staff. They will proactively assist with the booking and processing of SADs, liaising with customers and suppliers to foster and build relationships, invoicing, and other associated administrative duties.

Responsibilities / Principal Duties
  • Processing Import and Export customs entries (both Irish and UK CDS entries)
  • Processing ENS Entries
  • Processing CHED / TRACES Entries
  • Updating internal Master Data files
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with Revenue and HMRC
  • Maintaining and developing strong customer relationships
  • General Administration
About you
  • An ability to analyse information, identify issues and prioritise them
  • Experience with customer relationship management to develop new and existing relations
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative when required
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken, is essential
Essential Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment efficiently and calmly while using own initiative and working within a team.
  • A good communicator possessing strong Microsoft Outlook and Excel skills.
  • Ability to build good working relationships with both customers and hauliers.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload.
  • Excellent time management and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be allowed to legally work full-time in Ireland.
Working Hours

The Customs Clearance Agent will be required to work 40 hours per week. The Customs Clearance Agent may also be expected to work additional hours from time to time as dictated by the duties of the position.
