Job summary

LSC, Life Science Consultants is seeking a CQV Engineer specializing in Grey Utilities (HVAC, water, compressed air) for a contract role in Limerick, Ireland. The successful candidate will drive commissioning, qualification and validation activities for critical utility systems within a biopharma setting.

You will prepare and execute CQV documentation (URS, FAT, SAT, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet cGMP and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in CQV or validation roles, specifically for grey utility systems.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, water systems, compressed air, steam, chilled water, and cooling towers.
• Strong track record preparing and executing CQV documents: URS, FAT, SAT, DQ, IQ, OQ, and PQ.
• Familiarity with P&ID review, installation documentation, and system validation protocols.
• Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, vendors, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Execute commissioning, qualification and validation of grey utility systems (HVAC, water, compressed air, steam).
• Ensure systems meet regulatory standards (cGMP) and project requirements.
• Support startup and commissioning activities for validation of critical utilities.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, vendors and contractors to deliver quality CQV documentation.
