Job summary

Pfizer in Ringaskiddy, Ireland, seeks a Technologist for the RCMF to drive continuous manufacturing for clinical API products. You will work in cross‑functional teams, handle process transfers, and contribute to safety, quality and yield improvements.

The role involves real‑time data analysis and collaboration with Pharm Sci and NPTL teams. Reporting to the Operations Lead, you will rotate through the tech transfer program, support new product activity, and participate in safety and quality

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in API/ Biopharma manufacturing or food processing.
  • NFQ Level 7+ qualification in pharma/biopharma/chemical/process/ mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Excellent technical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Performance at a consistent level of excellence in a dynamic operating environment.
  • Comfortable as part of a highly competent and self‑motivated team; startup challenges.
  • Experience with technology transfer would be an advantage.
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Copilot for problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and schedule activities to meet the RCMF manufacturing schedule.
  • Work shift patterns to meet business needs and schedule requirements.
  • Ensure flawless manufacturing execution against safety, quality and customer service metrics.
  • Understand and use manufacturing control systems to execute processing steps.
  • Lead and support investigations and resolution of process problems.
  • Collect data, trend, and generate technical reports.
  • Participate in cross‑functional teams to achieve RCMF goals.
