Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking a Staff Operational Excellence Engineer to lead fab-wide improvement initiatives, strengthening flow, OEE, cost, and manufacturing performance.

You will work across operations, process engineering, equipment, maintenance, and quality to remove constraints and implement sustainable improvements. The role combines data-driven analysis with cross-functional leadership to improve operational stability, capacity, and execution in a high-volume semiconductor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• Significant experience in semiconductor or other high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with JMP, Minitab, SQL, or factory systems; Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred.

The Staff Operational Excellence Engineer leads fab-wide improvement initiatives to strengthen flow, OEE, cost, and overall manufacturing performance. This role works across operations, process engineering, equipment, maintenance, and quality to remove constraints, solve recurring issues, and implement sustainable improvements. The position combines data-driven analysis with strong cross-functional leadership to improve operational stability, capacity, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead improvement initiatives to improve flow, cycle time, OEE, yield, and cost performance
• Identify operational losses and constraints through data analysis and root-cause problem solving
• Partner cross-functionally to implement and sustain improvement actions
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma methods to strengthen execution discipline and standardize best practices
• Support fab readiness, capacity improvement, and long-term operational performance

Must Have Skills

• Strong expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem solving
• Proven ability to use manufacturing data to drive measurable improvement
• Deep understanding of semiconductor fab operations and equipment interactions
• Strong cross-functional leadership in a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated impact improving OEE, cycle time, yield, cost, or flow

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
• Significant experience in semiconductor or other complex high-volume manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with JMP, Minitab, SQL, or factory systems
• Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred
