Job summary

RIG Healthcare seeks a Consultant Radiologist with a special interest in breast imaging for a permanent post in Ireland. You will cover breast screening and symptomatic imaging within an established breast MDT, and contribute to high-quality diagnostic services.

Applicants must have specialist registration in Clinical Radiology (FRCR or equivalent) with subspecialty breast imaging experience and MDT participation; Breast MRI is an advantage.

Consultant Radiologist, Special Interest in Breast Radiology | Republic of Ireland | Permanent

We're working with a public hospital in Ireland to appoint a Consultant Radiologist with a special interest in breast imaging.

This is a permanent consultant post covering breast screening and symptomatic imaging, working within an established breast multidisciplinary team.

What you'll bring:

Specialist registration in Clinical Radiology (FRCR or equivalent), with subspecialty experience in breast imaging, including mammography reporting, breast ultrasound, image-guided biopsy and localisation, and MDT participation. Breast MRI experience is an advantage.

Salary:

€238,221 to €286,151 per annum (approx. £202,000 to £243,000) on the current public consultant contract (6-point incremental scale), plus pension and public sector benefits.

Registration:

Specialist registration with the Irish Medical Council is required. If you're not yet registered in Ireland, we can talk you through the process. Doctors who have previously held Irish registration can often start much sooner.
