Job summary

Beaumont Hospital in Dublin is seeking a Consultant General Surgeon to join the Cavan & Monaghan Hospital site under the HSE Dublin & North East Region. The initial commitment is 37 hours per week and the post requires registration in the Specialist Division in General Surgery.

The successful candidate will provide high standards of surgical care across acute and ambulatory services, participate in theatre sessions, and contribute to ongoing service development within the bi-located Cavan &

Qualifications

• Registered medical practitioner in Ireland with Specialist Division in General Surgery.
• Experience in acute surgical care and theatre list management.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and maintain clinical governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant General Surgery services at Cavan & Monaghan Hospital.
• Manage day surgery, outpatient clinics and emergency theatre sessions as required.
• Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives.
