Job summary

The Demo Data Ltd. is seeking a Construction Management Graduate to support residential projects, gaining hands-on exposure to site operations, planning, quality, health and safety, and subcontractor coordination.

Working with experienced site and project teams, you will develop the skills needed to progress into a construction management role and participate in ongoing graduate training and mentoring.

Qualifications

• The graduate should hold or be about to complete a Construction Management degree.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are required.
• Clear communication and a collaborative approach are essential.
• Showing willingness to learn, ask questions and take responsibility is important.
• Interest in residential construction and site management is desirable.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn CM systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager and Project Manager with day-to-day coordination of site activities.
• Assist with planning and monitoring works against the construction programme.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to support timely completion.
• Assist with organising labour, materials, plant and deliveries.
• Attend site meetings, record actions and follow up on tasks.
• Monitor progress and help prepare site reports and project updates.
• Assist with quality inspections, snagging and tracking corrective works.
• Support maintenance of inspection records and handover documentation.
• Work with Health and Safety team to promote safe practices and report hazards.
• Develop understanding of drawings, specifications, methods and sequencing.
• Liaise with engineering, commercial and design teams to resolve site queries.
• Support waste reduction and good site housekeeping.
• Participate in training, mentoring and development activities.

Role:
The Construction Management Graduate will support the delivery of Rycroft's residential developments, gaining practical experience in site operations, project planning, quality, health and safety, and subcontractor coordination.
Working alongside experienced site and project teams, the graduate will develop the skills needed to progress into a construction management role.

Key Responsibilities
