Job Description
  • Design Coordination: Lead administrative oversight of cross‑disciplinary design coordination by facilitating regular design meetings, assigning tasks, and tracking progress to ensure timely delivery of design outputs.
  • Client Workshop Engagement: Attend with the project team in client workshop meetings. Prepare and distribute meeting minutes, assign action items to relevant personnel, and follow up to ensure closure.
  • Workshop Input & BIM Integration: Support the submission of workshop inputs by coordinating deliverables between the BIM team and design teams. Manage issue allocation and resolution within the BIM environment.
  • Land & Wayleave Documentation Review: Coordinate with the Site Team and UE Land & Wayleave team to review and resolve markups and comments on land and wayleave documentation, ensuring compliance with UE requirements and readiness for final approval.
  • Planning Coordination: Act as the interface between Planning Consultants and UE Planners. Organise pre‑planning meetings, document outcomes, and coordinate comments and markups to ensure planning drawings meet county council requirements for timely submission.
  • Hazop/ALM Facilitation: Schedule and attend Hazop and ALM sessions for projects. Record meeting minutes, allocate actions, and ensure follow‑through and closure of all raised items.
  • Detailed Design to IFC Transition: Collaborate with design teams post‑detailed design phase to progress drawings to Issued for Construction (IFC) stage.
  • Civil & Structural Design Oversight: Coordinate civil and structural design activities across design teams, site delivery teams, and UE stakeholders to ensure alignment and constructability.
  • As‑Built Documentation Management: Oversee the development of As‑Built drawings by site delivery teams and UE. Allocate and resolve issues to ensure accurate and complete documentation.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Ideally third level qualification in an engineering/construction related course.
  • Experience in construction administration beneficial.
  • Ideally experienced in use of BIM platforms or similar.
  • Good experience working as part of a team, taking responsibility and using initiative to follow up and close out tasks.
