A leading civil engineering firm in Ireland is offering a Civil Engineer Intern position. This role provides exposure to water and wastewater projects, fostering collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team. As a Civil Engineer Intern, you will be part of our multi‑disciplinary engineering team, supporting the delivery of water and wastewater projects from design through to completion and handover to the client. This placement will provide you with the opportunity to learn from industry‑leading project teams, working in a collaborative “one‑team” culture while developing and broadening your technical and professional skills. You will demonstrate a willingness to learn and contribute as part of an experienced delivery team. Under the guidance of senior staff, you will support day‑to‑day project activities, gain exposure to engineering design and on‑site operations, and develop an understanding of how projects are priced, planned, and delivered. Due to the diverse nature of our work, you will have the chance to observe and engage with a wide range of civil engineering activities, giving you valuable insight into both the technical and practical aspects of the industry. This placement is designed to support your professional growth, preparing you to return to university with enhanced knowledge and experience to progress in your future career.
