Job summary

Lex Consultancy Recruitment is helping an asset management firm in Dublin 2 to hire a Compliance Specialist. You will manage regulatory reporting, draft policies, and support senior leadership on compliance initiatives in a hybrid work environment.

The role requires 3-5 years in asset management, a 3rd level qualification, and strong knowledge of UCITS, MiFID and AIFMD. This is a hands-on position with opportunities for progression in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in a Super Manco / asset management environment.
• 3rd level qualification; additional professional qualification advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of UCITS / MiFID / AIFMD regulations.

Responsibilities

• Draft policies and procedures in line with MiFID / AIFM Regulations and update stakeholders on changes.
• Support Senior Leadership in reporting requirements and produce reports for internal and regulatory bodies.
• Complete regulatory reports in line with legislative requirements.
• Act as compliance representative on projects and share knowledge across the firm.

Job description

Leading asset management firm with rapidly growing Irish team are hiring a Compliance Specialist. Managing over 300 funds, this Super Manco has an excellent team based in stunning offices in Dublin 2. The right person for this role will have strong working knowledge of the legislative requirements for UCITS and MiFID. You will need to have a an excellent understanding of CBI reporting requirements and an understanding of the wider funds framework across the EU.

Duties will include:

• Drafting policies and procedures in line with MiFID / AIFM Regulations, advising key members of the firm on updates and changes and implementing new processes in order to maintain compliance.
• Support Senior Leadership in reporting requirements and report production for internal and group usage as well as for CBI.
• Completion of regulatory reports in line with requirements set out in legislation.
• Project work – acting as the compliance representative, sharing key knowledge and acting as an advisor.

Suitable candidates will have:

• 3-5 years experience in a Super Manco / asset management environment.
• 3rd level qualification, additional professional qualification will be advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of legislation surrounding UCITS / MiFIDs/ AIFMD
