CareChoice Group Ireland in Swords is seeking a full-time Housekeeping Assistant to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our nursing home. The ideal candidate will have good English, a caring nature, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

The role involves daily cleaning, proper waste disposal, and assisting with meals in a rotating, flexible schedule. We offer a free uniform per year, competitive pay, training, development, and opportunities for

Qualifications

Good level of English language skills.
Availability to work varied shift patterns, Monday to Sunday.
Willingness to work in a nursing home environment.

Responsibilities

Daily cleaning of the general areas and residents' rooms.
Proper use and storage of cleaning equipment and cleaning solutions.
Collection and correct disposal of domestic waste.
Cleaning of spillages as they occur and use of wet signs.
Wash up crockery and maintain a clean kitchen.
Set up of trays for meals.
Ensure safe work practices and a safe environment.
The post will be rotational and flexible according to the needs of the nursing home.
