Job summary

Platinum Homecare is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our growing Homecare Team across Dublin and surrounding counties. Deliver high quality personal care, assistance with meals, moving and transferring, and medication supervision.

Drivers preferred but not essential depending on areas. QQI Level 5 modules in Care Skills or Care of the Older Person are encouraged, with opportunities to progress within the company.

Qualifications

• 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Willingness to work towards QQI Level 5.
• Personal experience with caregiving and a compassionate approach.
• Drivers preferred but not essential depending on areas.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality care and assistance to clients’ personal care, toileting, and meals.
• Moving and transferring clients and supervising medication.
• Observe, listen and engage with clients.
• Communicate changes or concerns to the employer regarding client needs.
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations.
