Job summary

Corlann – West Region is recruiting a permanent full-time Community Nurse (CNM1) to lead day-to-day service delivery in Knocknacarra & Galway City, aligned with HIQA standards and Personal Outcome Measures, reporting to the Service Coordinator/Area Manager.

Essential: live NMBI registration, 3+ years post-qualification experience with intellectual disabilities, full manual driving licence, fluent English. Includes on-call duties, 37.5 hours weekly, 25 days leave, salary €57,780–€68,046 per annum.

Qualifications

• Current live NMBI registration required (RNM/ RMHN desirable).
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in intellectual disability services.
• Phlebotomy and Nurse Prescribing qualifications are advantageous; willingness to undertake courses.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of services as CNM1.
• Provide leadership and vision for service development in line with HIQA standards.
• Report to Service Coordinator / Area Manager.
