Job summary

RTÉ is seeking an experienced Commercial Systems and Visualization Administrator to join our Commercial team. You will manage business systems and reporting needs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored reporting solutions for our commercial division.

You will create dashboards in Power BI for key metrics, support operational reporting across sales and delivery, and continually improve reporting processes. A computing degree and strong SQL/Python/Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Meticulous, precise and accurate in execution.
• Excellent communication, presentation & influencing skills.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Highly commercial, inquisitive self-starter.
• Excellent prioritisation and time management skills.
• Experience with SQL Server queries and Python development.
• Experience using Power BI or similar for bespoke reporting.
• Analytical experience across multiple data channels.
• Numerate with strong attention to detail.
• Strong Excel and macro skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Commercial Team's Systems and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with RTÉ divisions where appropriate.
• Establish and maintain reports on key operational metrics across sales and delivery systems (e.g., Landmark).
• Create visualisation and reporting dashboards in Power BI for business users.
• Continuously improve existing business reporting processes.
• Provide recommendations and analytical support.
• Identify gaps in commercial reporting information and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts and stakeholders to drive projects forward.
• Recommend new analyses for the business.
