Job summary

Waterford Private Hospital seeks a CNM2 Oncology to provide clinical leadership and oversee day services in medical oncology and haematology. You will lead the nursing team in delivering SACT, supportive therapies, and patient education with a focus on excellence and compliance.

Applicants must be an NMBI registered nurse with 5+ years post‑registration in an acute hospital, including 2 years at CNM1/2 level, and hold a recognized post‑registration course in Cancer care.

The CNM II Medical Oncology role provides clinical leadership and operational oversight of specialist oncology and haematology day services, ensuring safe, high‑quality, patient‑centred care.

The role leads the nursing team in delivering SACT, supportive therapies and patient education, while promoting clinical excellence, compliance and continuous improvement through strong leadership and advanced oncology expertise.

Applicants must be a NMBI registered Nurse, with min. 5 years post reg experience in an acute hospital setting, 2 of which to be at CNM1/2 grade. Applicants must also hold a recognised post reg course in Cancer care

Salary: €61,861.96 – €75,894.61 based on a 37hr week
