Job Title – CNC Operator / Programmer

Job Location – Co. Clare

Salary – €35K - €45K BOE

Role Overview:

Inform3 are currently recruiting for a CNC Operator / Programmer that has at least 3+ years’ experience CNC turning and be confident to programme and machine from one off to small batch work complex components on several material types.

The role is based in County Clare and is easily commutable from Ennis, Sixmilebridge and Limerick City and suits a positive and collaborative candidate with a strong willingness to learn and a keen interest for the role and the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• To produce and verify CNC programs and products.
• Able to work to high levels of precision.
• Program complex 5 axis parts using Hypermill.
• Communicate effectively with all other work colleagues who will be using the programs.
• Carry out and follow all Health & Safety legislations.
• To provide analysis on all existing programs and to document all relevant information that is required.
• The undertake routine checks in order maintain the machines/equipment in order to make sure they are in correct working order and to provide any detail malfunctions or deviations to a team leader or a production supervisor.
• Choose the correct cutting tools that will be needed and to determine stock machining sizes required depending on machine strategy.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• 3+ years’ experience within CNC Programming/Machinery.
• Knowledge and understanding of 2D & 3D Modelling using Hypermill.
• Strong understanding of 3-5 axis machines.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Positive and proactive approach to work.
• Ability to handle the workload and use own initiative.
• Excellent Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication.
