Job summary

Workday in Dublin, Ireland is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join the CloudOps team to optimize our multi-cloud infrastructure and enable secure, automated access for engineering teams. You will work at the intersection of developer velocity, data visibility, and cloud security, using AI-assisted tooling to automate lifecycle workflows and streamline provisioning.

This role emphasizes collaboration with Security, Platform, and Development teams, and requires hands-on experience with AWS, GCP,

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of hands-on Cloud Engineering experience, with focus on GCP/AWS.
• 2+ years of IaC experience with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Experience leveraging AI coding and automation tools to aid workflows.

Responsibilities

• Support Cloud Account Lifecycles: Provision and maintain AWS Accounts and GCP Projects.
• Maintain Cloud Safety Standards: Implement policy guardrails and baseline configurations.
• Build AI-Assisted Automation: Use AI tools to refactor IaC and automate checks.
• Enable Engineering Teams: Provide technical support for cloud access and identity setup.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work with Security, Platform, and Development teams on IAM.
