Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a data platform engineer focused on Data Export and Data Access for clinical data. You will design and implement cloud-based services, APIs, and data pipelines supporting HL7/XML data delivery across health systems.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years with .NET, AWS, Kubernetes, and experience in a medical device environment. This hybrid Ireland-based role offers a competitive salary and incentive plan.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 4 years of software delivery experience with .NET.
• Experience with public cloud (AWS) and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git, JFrog).
• Experience with SQL databases and healthcare data formats (XML/HL7).

Responsibilities

• Builds and supports platforms for clinical data accessibility.
• Delivers data in XML/HL7 formats for healthcare systems.
• Develops cloud services, APIs, data pipelines, and microservices.
• Collaborates with engineering, product, and QA to ensure reliable data delivery.
• Participates in on-call rotation.
