Job summary

Zinkworks is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, enhance, and support scalable cloud‑based data solutions. You will work on SQL‑driven data modelling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data integration across Google Cloud, Azure, and AWS platforms to support operational, analytical, and AI‑driven use cases.

You will handle relational, NoSQL, and graph‑oriented data models, extend schemas, and ensure data quality with automated validation and testing.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in SQL and hands‑on database development.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
Proficient Python for data engineering, transformation, automation, or integration.
Proven ETL/ELT pipeline design using Apache Airflow.
Experience with cloud data services across one or more major platforms.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines with Airflow.
Develop efficient SQL queries and Python data‑processing solutions.
Extend cloud data platforms’ schemas, transformations, and integrations.
Build and maintain data solutions using Google Cloud, Azure, and AWS tools.
Model relational, star‑schema, and NoSQL data structures and manage data quality.
Profile data quality, monitor pipelines, and troubleshoot performance issues.
Collaborate with engineers, analysts, product teams, and clients to translate requirements into data solutions.
Document data models, pipelines, and operational procedures.
