About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivatedClinical Sales Specialistwith a nursing or clinical background to cover bothsecondary care and primary care settingsacross Ireland. This individual will be responsible for managing a national territory, building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, demonstrating our product range, and driving sales growth in line with company objectives.

The ideal candidate will combine strong clinical expertise with proven sales experience, demonstrating the ability to understand the needs of healthcare professionals and deliver high-quality service and education.

The successful candidate will be responsible for positioning our brand as the ‘Best in Class’ diagnostic device, with the primary aim of ensuring it becomes the ‘First Choice’ treatment option for prescribers and their patients.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a national territory, covering bothhospital and primary care settings.
  • Demonstrate and promote products to healthcare professionals through face-to-face visits, clinics, and educational sessions.
  • Deliver product training and educational support to healthcare teams.
  • Educate, train, onboard and support new customers, ensuring a high standard of after-sales service.
  • Maintain a structured diary of appointments, effectively planning customer visits.
  • Monitor and report on competitor activity, market trends, and territory performance.
  • Work independently while collaborating with the wider internal sales, marketing and clinical teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in healthcare.
  • Ensure that all activities and communications fall in line with industry regulations and company compliance standards.
  • Manage market access of existing product portfolio and support the introduction of future innovations through national stakeholder management and Peer to Peer endorsement.
Qualifications
  • Qualifiednurseor healthcare professional (essential).
  • Minimum5+ years’ experience in medical sales.
  • Strong understanding ofprimary care and secondary care (hospital) environments.
  • Background indiabetes care, diabetes education, or running clinics(highly desirable/not essential).
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
  • Strong, in depth understanding of Irish Healthcare framework, HSE reimbursement schemes, procedures, regulations and all-round national directives.
  • Experience in onboarding new customers and delivering educational services (desirable).
  • Demonstrated passion for healthcare sales and customer service.
  • Familiarity with the Market Access landscape in Ireland including experience of or exposure to the relevant approval and reimbursement processes (desirable).
  • Strong negotiation skills, with ability to reach agreements with Health Care Professionals and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
  • Reliable, flexible, and responsive to customer and business needs.
  • Analytical (data driven) and strategic thinker with proficient Microsoft office skills.
  • Ability to work independently, assuming full ownership of the territory, managing it with an entrepreneurial mindset as though it were their own business.
  • Full, clean driving licence (essential)
