Highfield Healthcare in Dublin is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join Hampstead Clinic and Highfield Hospitals, working within a multidisciplinary Mental Health team. The role involves assessment, formulation and interventions, CBT, supportive psychotherapy, and group therapy across inpatient and day hospital settings.
Working hours are 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with a permanent, full-time contract. Eligibility requires a PSI-accredited postgraduate qualification in Clinical or Counselling
The Clinical Psychologist’s primary scope of responsibility will be to Highfield Hospitals and Hampstead Clinic services, as part of a comprehensive multidisciplinary team, which works across Mental Health services within Highfield Healthcare in Dublin 9 and Lucan.
The role of the Clinical Psychologist is indispensable to the effective treatment of all patients and residents admitted to Hampstead Clinic's Acute Adult Inpatient Service, as well as those attending our 3 Day hospitals located in Dublin 9 and Lucan.
The post holder reports to the Principal Clinical Psychologist on operational matters and in respect of clinical governance arrangements within the organisation. Clinical supervision will also be provided by the Senior Clinical Psychologists.

Candidates must possess a Postgraduate qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology accredited by Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) and possess the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office. Any qualifications obtained from outside Ireland, will need to be validated, or in the process of being validated, by the Department of Health in Ireland.
