Zohorecruit is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 – Mental Health for a hospital in Dublin. This permanent, full-time role requires leading nursing services and delivering safe, high-quality patient care in Rathfarnham, Ireland.

You will drive clinical governance, staff development, budget control, and multidisciplinary teamwork, with CPD support and opportunities for career progression. Closing date: 1 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Be a Registered Psychiatric Nurse registered with An Bord Altranais/NMBI, or eligible for registration.
• Minimum five years’ post-qualification experience, including at least two years at Clinical Nurse Manager 1 level.
• Experience in healthcare or hospital setting, including acute mental health services.
• Clinical experience in palliative care is desirable.
• Proven experience in staff management, budgetary control, and workforce planning.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Mental Health Commission standards and clinical governance structures.
• Demonstrate ability to lead, educate, and support students and registered nurses, contributing to practice education.
• CPD evidence and ongoing professional development.

• Provide ongoing strategic and operational leadership in line with national legislation, regulatory requirements, and best-practice standards.
• Ensure high-quality nursing services that promote excellence in patient care, safety, and clinical outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory frameworks, including Health & Safety and Risk Management standards.
• Act as an effective leader to plan, implement, and sustain operational change within the nursing service.
• Collaborate with residents, families, carers, and staff to support person-centred care planning.
• Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams to foster cooperation and effective communication across disciplines.
• Ensure nursing practices align with the organisation’s service objectives and strategic plans.
