Job summary

Goodbody is seeking an Associate in Climate Consulting to support climate and sustainability advisory services for a diverse portfolio of clients. The role focuses on carbon footprint calculations and helping clients understand their emissions profile.

You will gather and analyse data, communicate findings, and help deliver high-quality presentations and workshops, with about 20% of time devoted to proposal administration and business development.

Qualifications

• Analytical, motivated and client focused with an interest in climate action and sustainability.
• Good foundational understanding of greenhouse gas accounting and carbon footprint methodologies.
• Strong quantitative skills and confidence working with data in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct organisational carbon footprint assessments.
• Collect, validate, and analyse emissions and activity data from clients.
• Apply recognised standards and methodologies for GHG accounting.
• Prepare technical analysis, reports, presentations and recommendations for clients.
• Liaise directly with clients to gather information and provide project updates.
• Build positive and professional client relationships.
• Support and deliver client presentations, workshops, and meetings.
• Prepare clear and engaging client deliverables and presentation materials.
• Respond to client queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with project planning, coordination, and delivery.
• Track project progress and ensure deliverables are completed to agreed timelines.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
• Support the preparation, formatting, and submission of client proposals.
• Coordinate proposal inputs from technical and commercial team members.
• Maintain proposal templates and supporting content.
• Assist with business development administration and reporting.
• Attend, participate and contribute to conferences and training as required.
