Job Description
Purpose of the Post

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Clerical Officer Grade IV will work on a Permanent, Full‑time contract. Responsibilities include managing and maintaining finance policies, training staff, and ensuring correct application of spend guidelines.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Accounting Technician qualification or part‑qualified accountant status (essential).
  • Minimum of two years' experience in an administrative finance role within a busy office environment.
  • Proven ability to reconcile accounts and implement effective financial controls and processes.
  • Banking experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel with exceptional attention to detail.

Salary

Salary and qualifications are in line with the Department of Health consolidated pay scales. The current salary scale is Grade IV (Clerical) €35,609 – €54,914 per annum (including LSI).
