Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is hiring a Cleaning Supervisor to lead and manage cleaning teams across sites in Ireland. You will roster operatives, drive performance, and ensure service quality aligns with client standards.

The ideal candidate has cleaning sector experience, strong communication, and a proven ability to develop staff. Right to work in ROI is required. This role offers development opportunities within a global facilities management group.

Responsibilities

• Maintain services and operations to comply with site quality standards as advised by the client and Operations Manager/Contracts Manager.
• Inform Operations Manager/Contracts Manager of training and development needs of teams or individuals to enhance performance.
• Maintain the necessary conditions for an effective and safe working environment.
• Roaster and recruit for operatives as required and manage cleaning teams.
• Build a strong working relationship with the client ensuring site objectives are met.

About The Role:

Working Pattern: Wednesday - Sunday with Weekend & Bank Holiday Availability

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain services and operations to comply with site specific quality standards as advised by the client and Operations Manager/Contracts Manager
• Inform Operations Manager/Contracts Manager of any training and development needs of your teams or individuals’ goals to enhance performance
• Maintain the necessary conditions for an effective and safe working environment
• To fulfil any administration and management of the cleaning teams and to roster and recruit for operatives as required
• To build a strong working relationship with the client ensuring site objectives are always met

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Must have Right to Work in the ROI
• Previous experience in the cleaning sector is essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record in delivering effective customer service
• Supervision capability
• Employee improvement/training
