Description
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented cleaner to join our team on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of office spaces, bathrooms, and the staff canteen/kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Office Areas:
- Clean and sanitise desks, chairs, and other office equipment.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces.
- Empty trash bins and replace liners.
- Bathrooms:
- Clean and disinfect sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors.
- Replenish soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Empty sanitary bins and ensure hygiene standards are maintained.
- Staff Canteen/Kitchen:
- Clean and disinfect countertops, tables, and sinks.
- Clean appliances such as microwaves, fridges, and coffee machines.
- Empty trash and recycling bins.
- Refill kitchen supplies (soap, paper towels, etc.).
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Ensure a hygienic and organised kitchen environment at all times.
- Report any maintenance issues or supply needs to management.
- Follow health and safety guidelines when handling cleaning supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in office or commercial cleaning, including kitchens and bathrooms, is an advantage.
- Familiarity with cleaning materials, tools, and best safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Good physical stamina, as the role involves standing, bending, and lifting.
Schedule and Flexibility
- Regular workdays are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (6pm-9pm).
- Flexibility required during the two-week Christmas period, with the possibility of working up to 5 days per week.
