Job summary

Bidvest Noonan Group is seeking a GMP Cleaning Operative to perform routine cleaning and sanitization of GMP-controlled areas onsite. You will follow SOPs, use approved agents, and maintain accurate records.

Role requires experience in cleanroom environments, attention to hygiene, and the ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift (days/nights, weekends). Excellent English and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in industrial, pharmaceutical, healthcare, food manufacturing, or cleanroom cleaning environments.
• Understanding of hygiene and contamination control principles.
• Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in completing documentation.
• Good level of written and spoken English.
• Flexibility to work a 12-hour rotating shift pattern, including both day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of GMP-controlled areas, including production rooms, cleanrooms, laboratories, warehouses, corridors, changing rooms, and offices.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and cleaning schedules.
• Use approved cleaning agents, disinfectants, and equipment according to site procedures.
• Complete cleaning records and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Report any cleaning, maintenance, safety, or compliance concerns to the supervisor.
• Handle and dispose of waste according to site procedures.
• Adhere to gowning requirements and contamination control practices.
• Support production shutdown cleans and periodic deep cleaning activities.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored appropriately after use.
• Participate in GMP, health and safety, and environmental training programs.
• Support inspections and audits by maintaining high housekeeping standards.
