Job summary

Wallace Myers International is recruiting a Clean Utilities Technician for a 23-month fixed-term contract at a Waterford site in Ireland. The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance of critical water systems, ensuring alignment with HSE requirements and safety standards.

The successful candidate will work on 2 shifts (Mon-Fri) with some on-call shifts, supporting continuous improvement of maintenance operations and CAPA development for unplanned disruptions.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent.
• Experience operating GMP utility systems in pharma or high-purity settings.
• Training certification and maintenance experience.
• In-depth equipment knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of purchasing systems and CMMS.
• GMP compliance experience.
• Preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Results oriented with a safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Develop corrective actions to address clean utilities compliance and safety risks.
• Identify reliability, maintainability, and HSE improvement opportunities for critical utility systems.
• Provide feedback to reliability engineering and P&S teams.
• Organize the utility area and ensure safety of tools and equipment.
• Create maintenance plans, procedures, and work instructions.

Please note that this is a shift pattern role - 2 shift (Mon-Fri) with some on‑call shifts.

About The Job

The successful candidate will ensure timely execution and completeness of preventive and corrective work orders for critical water systems. Ensures all maintenance work performed on equipment is aligned with HSE requirements i.e. Permits LOTO PTW Support continuous improvement for maintenance operations Support investigations and development of CAPAs for unplanned utility disruptions or EM excursions.

Main Responsibilities

• A Develop corrective actions to address clean utilities compliance and safety risks
• A Identify reliability and maintainability and HSE improvement opportunities for critical utility systems
• Feedback to reliability engineering and P&S team
• Utility area organization and safety incl tools equipment
• Maintenance plans procedures work instructions

About You
