Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Limerick is seeking a Clean Utilities Technician to join our Facilities Operations team. This hands-on role focuses on daily operations, maintenance and repair of utilities and process water systems in a cGMP environment.

You will monitor readings on HMIs, respond to alarms, execute work orders and preventive maintenance, coordinate vendor activities, and uphold safety standards to ensure reliable plant performance for patients and research programs.

Qualifications

• Qualified to National Craft Standard with minimum 2+ years in a similar role.
• Experience in cGMP environments is desirable.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read instrumentation and control systems (HMIs).
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily operations, maintenance and repairs on Utilities and related systems in a cGMP setting.
• Monitor readings on equipment and HMIs to detect leaks or malfunctions and ensure efficient operation
• Identify off-nominal conditions and troubleshoot mechanical & electrical issues
• Execute Work Orders and PMs; coordinate workflow and document PMs/WOs
• Coordinate and supervise vendor maintenance activities
• Maintain safety practices per COHE/LOTO and risk assessments
• Adhere to SOPs and maintain training records; keep site standards (5S etc.) up to date
• Analyze problems to ensure continuous, reliable operation of equipment and systems

What you'll do:

• Performing daily operations, maintenance and repairs on Utilities, WFI, Clean Steam, Bulk Gases, Bulk Chemicals, Process water generation, Chemical dosing systems, Air Compressors and or other mechanical equipment, in a cGMP environment with minimal direction
• Monitoring and interpreting readings on equipment, computer terminals/HMIs, switches, valves, gauges, alarms, safety devices, and meters to detect leaks or malfunctions and to ensure that equipment is operating efficiently and safely
• Proactively identifying any off-nominal conditions with mechanical & electrical equipment and problem solving of any operational & maintenance issues
• Executing daily Work Orders and PMs and efficiently coordinating the workflow and documentation of PMs and WOs
• Arranging repairs, such as complete overhauls, replacement of defective valves, gaskets, or bearings, or fabrication of new parts
• Coordination and supervision of vendor maintenance activities
• Ensuring a safe work environment is maintained by adherence to Safety Systems, e.g. COHE/LOTO, Permit to work, Method Statements / Risk Assessments
• Adhering to and remaining current in assigned IOPS plant and department SOPs and required trainings as related to positional and department responsibilities; maintaining an up-to-date training file to ensure compliance
• Maintaining site standards and programmes (e.g. SCC (Site safety, cleanliness, compliance), 5S)
• Analysing problems and taking appropriate action to ensure continuous and reliable operation of equipment and systems
