Arcadis is seeking a CQV Engineer to lead commissioning, qualification and validation activities for clean and black utilities in a South Dublin biopharma facility. You will oversee WFI, steam, HVAC, gas utilities, and related systems from construction turnover through SAT, FAT, IOQ, and PQ to GMP handover.

You will collaborate with Engineering, QA, Operations and vendors to ensure compliant, reliable utility systems and successful project execution.

• Review and approve URS, DQ, P&IDs, design packages, and vendor documentation.
• Manage sampling plans, commissioning flushes, sanitisation, heat-up/cool-down profiles, and utility qualification acceptance criteria.
• Troubleshoot CU system issues during commissioning and qualification.
• Oversee CQV activities for Boilers, Plant Steam, Chilled Water, Cooling Towers, Air Handling Units, Electrical Distribution, and Waste Systems.
• Ensure BU systems feeding CU systems meet performance and reliability requirements.
• Coordinate with Facilities/Engineering on start-up, energisation, and integration testing.

Clean and Black Utilities CQV Engineer

Role Overview

You will lead Commissioning, Qualification & Validation (CQV) activities for Black Utilities (BU) and Clean Utilities (CU) systems supporting a large‑scale biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The role focuses heavily on Clean Utilities (WFI, RO/DI, Clean Steam, Process Gases, GMP HVAC), while also ensuring integration and compliance of supporting Black Utility systems (Boilers, Chilled Water, Plant Steam, HVAC non‑classified, Electrical Distribution).

You will work cross‑functionally with Engineering, QA, Operations, and Vendors to deliver systems from construction turnover through SAT, FAT, IOQ, PQ and handover into GMP operations.
