Job summary

Global Professional Consultants in Dublin seeks a Civil Engineering Technician to support the design and delivery of major infrastructure and development projects across Ireland. You will contribute to drainage and water supply design and produce detailed drawings in a multidisciplinary team.

Applicants should have 3+ years in civil tech, strong design skills, and familiarity with AutoCAD; Civil 3D experience is advantageous. Hybrid working and clear CPD prospects are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a Civil Engineering Technician role.
• Strong civil engineering and technical design knowledge.
• Experience with drainage and water supply design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Civil 3D experience is highly advantageous.
• Experience in site level and/or road design is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings and design documentation.
• Work alongside Civil Engineers on the design and delivery of multidisciplinary projects.
• Assist with drainage and water supply system design.
• Produce site layouts, levels, road and infrastructure drawings.
• Develop designs using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Coordinate drawings and technical information with other engineering disciplines.
• Ensure design outputs meet relevant technical and quality standards.
