Job summary

Strata Consulting Limited is seeking a Civil Engineer for its Dublin office to work on a range of infrastructure projects from planning through to construction. You will contribute to roads, drainage, and utility design, and prepare technical submissions alongside the team.

The role involves coordinating with architects, contractors and authorities, and supporting CPD and chartership pathways. A competitive package is on offer with career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Experience in civil engineering consultancy is essential.
• Experience with roads, drainage and development infrastructure is preferred.
• Familiarity with Irish standards (Uisce Éireann, TII, DMURS).
• Knowledge of Civil 3D, AutoCAD or InfoDrainage is advantageous.
• Good communication and organisational skills; full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Design roads and development infrastructure for projects.
• Design surface and foul water drainage systems.
• Plan water services and utilities.
• Develop site development and external works drawings.
• Prepare engineering drawings, reports and submissions.
• Assist with planning and tender documentation.
• Liaise with authorities and statutory bodies.
• Provide site inspections and construction-stage support.
