Unknown Client in Ireland is seeking an experienced CAD Technician to support civil engineering projects, with a focus on active travel and public realm. Hybrid working, pension, and structured training are offered.

The role involves producing and coordinating high-quality drawings across project stages, in collaboration with engineers and multidisciplinary teams. A strong emphasis on BIM, standards, and documentation is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in civil engineering drafting.
• Experience in active travel, public realm or infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Irish design standards and BIM.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil drawings: plans, sections, and layouts.
• Create and manage drawing packages from feasibility to construction.
• Coordinate drawings with structural, drainage and landscape teams.
• Assist engineers with design documents and technical deliverables.
• Ensure drawings comply with Irish standards and project specs.
• Update drawings in response to design changes and project feedback.
• Support BIM processes and document control.
