Job summary

Avoca Community Employment is seeking a Caretaker for Castlemaccadam Church/Hall & Grounds. This is a developmental opportunity; no experience is necessary and accredited training will be provided to support your career progression.

You will be responsible for maintaining church and hall grounds and car park, cleaning Hartin Hall and Church, together with basic building maintenance and painting as required at Castlemaccadam Church/Hall and Grounds.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups.
• Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Responsibilities

• Duties to include maintaining Church and hall grounds and car park. Cleaning Hartin Hall and Church, and basic building maintenance at Castlemaccadam Church/Hall and Grounds. Painting and other tasks as required.
