Job summary

DCK is seeking a Christmas Retail Associate in Waterford for 12 hours per week. The role requires you to be customer-focused, able to work across stores within your zone, and start as soon as possible with a 9:00am start time. The pattern includes weekdays and weekends during the busy peak period.

This temporary position runs through 26/12/2026. You will be supported by a Team Leader and encouraged to be tech-savvy to use store Apps and tools. Availability for Waterford stores is essential.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a customer-facing setting is required.
• Sales or retail experience is preferred.
• Access to a smartphone with up-to-date OS is required.

Role Title - Christmas Retail Associate - Waterford - 12 hours per week

Due to the nature of the role, please ensure you have access to your own vehicle and have a full driving licence.

Shift Pattern - 4 Monday, 4 Tuesday, 4 Friday

Working hours: The required start time for this role is 9:00am

Please note - this is a Christmas Retail Associate role covering our stores during our busy peak Christmas period. The Christmas period is our busiest time and therefore we are unable to authorise any leave in December, please bear this in mind when applying.

Our Retail Assistants provide face to face contact and merchandising expertise within our retail stores. In return, we provide:

You will be based in Waterford butmay berequired to travel to different stores within your zone. We are looking for those who are available to start as soon as possible.

You will be working alongside a Team Leader, who will provide you with coaching and ongoing support. Being tech savvy is desirable as we use quite a few apps to make working here as smooth as possible.

Job role:

You will need to be customer-focused, with a friendly, polite, professional and positive attitude.

You will complete various instore activities which include:

• Merchandising our product to our visual merchandising guidelines

• Putting out deliveries of new stock

• Maintaining housekeeping standards

• Setting up promotional activities

• You will be working with the host management teams to build great relationships and identify opportunities to improve sales.

Requirements;

• Prior experience in a customer facing setting is required, fashion brands are a plus.

• Sales and or retail sales experience is preferred

• Access to either an Apple or Android smartphone with the most up to date operating systems
