Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

The programme will give successful applicants over 21 year age in receipt of a social welfare payment for 12 months or persons 18 years or over in receipt of a Disability payment, the opportunity for practical work experience of 19.5 hours per week within an Early Years Setting on a rate of €271.50 per week in conjunction with studying towards the Level 5 Early learning Care professional award on their own time outside of working hours. The work experience and training will enable applicants to secure future employment opportunities within the Childcare sector. All training cost will be funded 100% through the programme.
