Job summary

St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network in Dublin, Ireland, seeks a Director of Physics / Chief Physicist to provide strategic, scientific, professional and academic leadership at a pivotal stage of the Network’s development.

The Director will lead a multidisciplinary Physics and Clinical Engineering service of more than 40 staff across three SLRON sites in Dublin, guiding an equipment replacement and expansion programme and shaping the future clinical direction of the Network.

Qualifications

• Accomplished medical physics leader with strategic vision.
• Experience leading large multidisciplinary physics/clinical engineering teams.
• Strong track record in research, education and clinical innovation.

Responsibilities

• Lead Physics and Clinical Engineering service of 40+ staff across 3 sites.
• Oversee replacement and capital investment programme.
• Shape technological, scientific and clinical direction of the Network.
