Job summary

ODS Engineering invites a seasoned electrical engineering leader to head the ODS Modular Electrical Engineering department, based in Ireland. This role combines strategic ownership with hands-on involvement, shaping standards, processes and the long-term roadmap while staying close to factory floor execution.

You will define department structure, mentor engineers, drive design-for-manufacture initiatives and act as the senior technical authority in front of customers and internal teams,

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering; Chartered Engineer status desirable.
• 10+ years in electrical design and delivery within data centres or mission-critical infra.
• Experience building and leading an electrical engineering team or department.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the Electrical Engineering department from the ground up.
• Set strategic direction, technical roadmap and governance for electrical engineering.
• Provide senior technical oversight and sign-off of deliverables (SLDs, schematics, layouts).
• Support commercial/tender activities with technical input and risk assessment.
