DHL Global Forwarding Ireland is seeking a senior leader to drive the development of new customs business opportunities and to lead the customs and trade compliance function across import, export and trans-shipment activities.

The role requires strategic governance, strong stakeholder engagement with Customs Authorities and Revenue Commissioners, and the ability to align regulatory practice with DHL's business objectives and customer requirements.

Formación

• 12-15 years customs experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and change initiatives.
• Proven ability to develop and implement compliance frameworks.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and lead the Customs & Trade Compliance strategy for Ireland.
• Lead planning, implementation and review of plans, budgets and initiatives.
• Provide expert guidance on customs regulations, import/export controls, sanctions and tariff classification.
• Ensure full compliance with all regulatory obligations, minimising risk to DHL GF Ireland and customers.
• Establish and maintain relationships with Customs Authorities, Revenue Commissioners and industry bodies.
• Lead the Customs & Trade Compliance function with a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
