Job summary

Payward Europe Solutions Ltd (PESL), the EU arm of Payward/Kraken, is hiring a Head of AML/CFT Compliance to lead PESL’s Irish and EU AML framework. You will act as Money Laundering Reporting Officer and report to the PESL CEO and Board, ensuring governance, controls, and regulatory reporting.

The role requires crypto/fintech experience, PCF‑52 with CASP, and a proven ability to design scalable, tech‑driven controls.

Qualifications

• Experience in crypto, fintech, or other regulated high-volume environments.
• Significant AML/CFT and regulatory compliance experience.
• Demonstrated ability to engage regulators, senior management and governance bodies.
• Previous PCF-52 with CASP or equivalent role preferred.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable, technology-enabled AML/CFT frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain PESL's AML/CFT framework in line with Irish/EU requirements.
• Act as Money Laundering Reporting Officer and provide governance oversight to the board.
• Develop, implement, and review AML/CFT policies, standards, and controls.
• Oversee risk assessments, CDD/EDD, monitoring, screening, and SAR processes.
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Operations and technology to embed AML/CFT across products and geographies.
