Job summary

A well-known restaurant is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie in Dublin. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting high quality dishes while assisting in menu development. The role requires at least 2 years experience in Persian and Ethnic cuisines and excellent leadership skills. Night shifts may be required. Salary is €34,000 per annum with 39 hours per week.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience with Persian and Ethnic Cuisines.
  • Good communicator with definitive knowledge of HACCP.

Job Description

ZAYTOON, UNIT 8A, Beacon South Quarter, Sandyford, Dublin 18 (D18 ANH5). Chef de Partie required for Lorien Sandyford Limited (t/a Zaytoon) located at Beacon South Quarter, Sandyford, Dublin 18. We are looking for experienced, creative, and passionate Chef De Partie’s to join our team. The primary duties will include:

  • Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes within the speciality section
  • Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes
  • Preparing meat and fish
  • Assisting with the management of health and safety
  • Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices
  • Managing and training any Commis Chefs
  • Monitoring portion and waste control
  • Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards
  • Other General Duties

Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years experience working with Persian and Ethnic Cuisines, be highly motivated, dynamic, and an enthusiastic individual, have excellent leadership skills, and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment. Definitive knowledge of HACCP and Safe Practices at Work. Must be a good communicator. Night shifts may be required.
